July 4th

We had a great holiday weekend with friends. Ashlyn went to her first pool party in Katy, TX at the Niswongers. She loved the water. I even dunked her completely under water a couple of times and both times she did great. Not even crying once. She looked a little suprised when she came back up. Ryan and I went downtown to the Houston fireworks but we left Ashlyn with a sitter. Maybe next year, we didn't think loud bursts of noise past her bedtime would be a great way for her to celebrate the 4th.
